Today I climbed up 2 ladders, onto a roof 2 stories up, used a power saw, hauled lumber around and I didn't die.
I know it doesn't sound like much, but I am deathly afraid of heights. Getting from the roof back down the ladder was so terrifying I was afraid I'd start crying in front of my boss. Fortunately, my ego wouldn't allow it and I made it down. Then I had to climb over a balcony railing to get down the next ladder. Eek.
But the point is I did it. Twice. Both directions.
I worked on a roof today and didn't have a breakdown.
