"The National Weather Service has continued the excessive heat warning for highly urbanized areas in and around Philadelphia this afternoon. Heat indices are expected to be 105 to 110 this afternoon.
This will be the last day of the oppressive heat and humidity. A cold front is forecast to move into the region late this afternoon and across the area this evening and bring relief Friday into the weekend."
If I had a sparkler, I'd go outside and say "yayyyy..." and perhaps write my name with it. But I don't, so I won't.
I finally finished doing dishes, and I think I may tackle the bathroom next. I should also call Matt's grandma sometime to let her know I won't be at the annual family gathering in Eaglesmere. I was going to go, but I just don't feel like it anymore. It would be weird to go to a Matt-family function without Matt. Plus, I decided going to Hershey Park with Clayton, Emily and Janese sounded like more fun and less driving. *shrug*
I can hear fireworks outside... perhaps I should go lay on the grass and watch the fireflies. Fireflies are nifty.
